Name: Phoenix Wright Fandom: Ace Attorney Canon Point: Post third game Gender: Male Orientation: Ohoh, this door swings both ways. Phoenix just doesn't know it yet. Personality: As the player, we are privy to Phoenix’s inner thoughts throughout the game, which show him to actually be quite the sardonic fellow and almost a pessimist besides. He’s fairly introverted during investigations, usually letting one of his companions (more often than not a little girl of the Fey family) do all of the talking for him. He does, however, value the friendships he has made with people and he trusts those select friends to the utmost. His trust in his client is what gets him through the annoyances of investigation and the day-to-day badgering he gets throughout each and every trial. During trials, Phoenix is a strong adversary, though his imagination usually gets ahead of him before he can remember about evidence. Lucky for him, his imagination allows for him to see pieces of evidence as other people might not, and it is his think outside the box attitude that more often than not turns trials around for him. Even so, his susceptibility to ridicule in court does do a number on his nerves, and Phoenix can usually be found breaking into cold sweat. Even though he may not have been born with a sense of justice, Phoenix certainly caught the “justice bug” soon enough after being subjected to a class trial in which he was the suspected party. The feeling of being completely alone with no one to believe in was torture and to the present day, 17 years later, Phoenix has used this memory of the seemingly insignificant class trial to motivate his own fervor in his trials. Perhaps naively, Phoenix believes in each and every one of his clients and, more often than not, turns most trials on their heads in order to prove his client’s true innocence. Lately, and due to the advice and example of a very good friend, Phoenix has geared the aim of his trials to finding the truth, regardless of his client’s innocence or guilt. It’s a much harder task than anyone can imagine, especially considering the odds Phoenix more often than not faces during each and every trial. Even so, he trusts in himself as well as his client, knowing full well that their life rests in his hands. It’s a little inspiring, however terribly nerve-wracking as well. Appearance: The first thing anyone will notice about Phoenix Wright is… his hair. In fact, they’re usually pretty vocal about it, too, calling him out for having too spiky of a head. In truth, there have been worse hairstyles and besides, it looks all right on him, in any case. Phoenix is neither muscular, flabby, nor scrawny – he’s built pretty average and it’s apparent that he’s more or less comfortable with this fact. He’s really cute when he smiles. (: |
