► Mia Fey. My mentor, old boss, and someone to whom I owe a lot to. She's a good friend. Back when I was in college, I was wrongfully accused of murder and Mia defended me and caught the real killer and everything. Years later, after earning my degree, I was able to land a job in her law firm and she helped me once again through my very first case - a murder trial, no less. Not long after that, though... ... well, never mind. (I'm... really kind of happy she's here. I mean, I know it's a terrible thing to say, because Atia is not exactly the greatest of environments, but I'd be a lot worse off if she wasn't here. And it's just good to see her again. I know that's silly to say, since Maya and Pearls always channeled her so often, but... it's different, somehow. I'm really glad I'm getting this chance to see her again.)

► Godot. Real name is Diego Armando. Diego started out as a defense attorney and was Mia's superior, but an... er, accident nearly cost him his life, sending him into a coma that lasted nearly six years. Although his life had been spared, his eyesight was not. (Nor his hair color.) After his re-awakening, he became a prosecutor and began to call himself Godot. (... Godot's been a lot nicer to me than he ever was in court. At least, he doesn't treat me like I'm incompetent and he's finally got my name right. It seems he's been living pretty happily with the chief. How lucky he is.)

► Dahlia Hawthorne. ... my college girlfriend. (... I can't trust her. I know I can't. But I can't shake the feeling - or hope - that... maybe it's Iris. Maybe she doesn't know it's okay to not act like Dahlia, that we know her secret. But it's... probably not the case. Mia's right, I need to remain suspicious of her. Until there's decisive evidence to prove otherwise, Dahlia is not to be trusted.)

► Harry Morris. My director and thus, an employer of mine. He seems like a decent fellow, if a little quiet. (He also let me in on the fact that there's... some sort of monster on the loose. A real monster, one that apparently gets its kicks from assaulting, torturing, and raping the citizens of Atia. Its origins are unknown... and I've never had the fortune of seeing it myself.)

► Shiki Tohno. My other employer. He runs the hotel I'm staying at... temporarily. Temporarily staying, until I can find an affordable apartment. It's not so bad here, though. (So long as I ignore the, er... other patrons.)

► ???? Shiki's sister... I think. (She's scary. And that's about all I know.)

► Morrigan Aensland. A very friendly, honest woman. (Also very attractive. She's not bad, she's just drawn that way.) I haven't spoken to her about her life before coming here, but I can say that she seems to enjoy herself here quite a bit.

► Suzaku Kururugi. A member of the police force here in Atia. ... I think. Apparently the force is made up entirely of captives rather than the natives. (Come to think of it, who's the Chief of Police here? I should probably find that out...) Suzaku seems to be good friends of both Mia and Godot, and he was quite helpful on my first day here.

► Sha Gojyo. Actually, I don't know very much about him. All I know was that he was purposefully framed for murdering a woman named Kallen Stadtfeld, but many testified that this was not truly the case. (He was under the impression that the real killer was targeting people whom he - that is, Gojyo - was close to, as revenge for "going after him" after Mello bombed the marketplace. He refused to speak more about the matter, and we haven't spoken since.)

► Hanatarou Yamada. Nice guy, though I don't know him very well. (Seems a bit jittery, too. And depressing.) He seems to genuinely want to help people and that's a nice quality to have in a place like this. I just hope it doesn't end up being taken advantage of...

► Ami Mizuno. She works at the library, apparently. A real bookworm, I suppose. Seems to want to research more about the city and, frankly, I can't blame her. (Also seems pretty introverted. But I'm hardly one to talk.)

► Dana Fairbanks. She... erm, kind of saved my life. (Not that I'm gonna go into any details...) I feel pretty guilty, but I actually don't know very much about her. I know that she's a lesbian, and that's about it.

► Eikichi... -sama. Quite the narcissist, likes to hear himself talk. (And it's not fun to be the one listening.) He tried to hook me up with Hanatarou at one point and insisted my hairstyle... ... well, never mind.

► ???? Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to ask his name... but he's offered alternate methods to the collar problem. Namely, dying.

► Machi Tobaye. Seems to have heard of me... but in the future? Mentioned I had a daughter named Trucy and a protege of some kind named... ....... well, it was something weird. (I could always ask him again. Still, hard to believe I'd have a daughter any time soon...)

► Depth Charge. A very serious business kind of guy, doesn't like people in his face. (Which makes sense, considering the crowd here.) Apparently he was a robot before arriving here, but... Atia changed him, uh... somehow. ... ..... you know what, I have no idea. It's probably better to ask him.

► ???? (Doesn't seem to like me, whoever he is.)

► Kallen Stadtfeld. I don't know her personally at all. She was a murder victim my first week here. I didn't get a very good look at her when the video played... but anyway, I know that she's been revived. Apparently, she has a connection with Suzaku Kururugi, Sha Gojyo, and "Mello," the last of which being her murderer.

► Mihael Keehl. Alias: Mello. Supposedly a terrorist. I've spoken to him, but I've never seen his face or anything. According to various witness accounts, he's bombed the city's marketplace before and proven to be guilty of murder and kidnapping. Seems to have a personal vendetta against Sha Gojyo.
